Newly-launched Sparc Systems’ Innovation Space is said to have been designed to bridge the gap between innovation and commercialisation by helping entrepreneurs transform ideas into investment-ready companies.
The Innovation Space among others will offer equity financing ranging from K5 million to K100 million.
Sparc Systems Managing Director, Wisely Phiri, said the Innovation Space was created to provide the infrastructure, capital, and technical support entrepreneurs need to build globally competitive businesses.
Applications for the inaugural cohort officially opened on June 25 and will close on July 31 2026.
Both Minister of Industrialisation, Business, Trade and Tourism Simoni Itaye and Reserve Bank of Malawi Deputy Governor responsible for Operations Dr. Kisu Simwaka hailed Sparc Systems for the innovation.
