An international pioneering tech-hub firm, SPARC Systems Limited has unveiled Malawi Law Society's (MLS) new Management Information System designed to improve and ease service delivery.
Speaking during a partial handover of the new cutting-edge system in Lilongwe today, MLS president, Patrick Mpaka, said the interface will streamline the society's operations, enhance member services and improve administrative efficiency aligning with its digitalization agenda.
Mpaka said the platform has already helped them register members online, a development which has saved the cost lawyers incurred to process their annual certificates with the society's secretariat.
Apart from the lawyers, Mpaka says the system will also help the public to know accredited legal officers before engaging them on legal matters.
SPARCs Systems Limited director, Dr. Wisely Phiri said the system is tailored to facilitate efficient member registration, automated fee processing, document management and real time communication, urging other institutions to embrace the digital edge.
