ICT Association of Malawi (ICTAM) has unveiled Sparc Systems limited as headliner and platinum sponsor for the 2025 ICT Expo slated for June 5 to June 6 in Lilongwe . Sparc Systems is injecting K13.5million into the event which will take place at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC).

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony today at Sparc Systems building in Lilongwe, ICTAM vice president Moses Dossi commended Sparc Systems for the sponsorship saying ICTAM relies on sponsors to carry out such activities. He said Sparc Systems has consistently supported ICTAM in its activities over the years.

"Sparc Systems has walked with us, supported our initiatives, empowered our programmes and today once again they have demonstrated their unwaivering dedication by headlining the platinum sponsoring ICT Expo, 2025," said Dossi.

During the ceremony, Sparc Systems also announced a K4.9 million support towards Girls in ICT Empowerment initiative organised by ICTAM. The event will take place tomorrow at BICC.

"These events are very critical to our society. The ICT Expo a platform where startups organisations, institutions come and showcase the skills in innovations and whatever they are doing in terms of technology. The Girls in ICT, we are looking at a girl child who would want to go into ICT," said Dossi.

Sparc Systems country manager Esnor Ward said the sponsorship is part of Sparc Systems commitment to accelerate Malawi digital economy and Sparc Systems is ready to work with every stakeholder to promote the digital economy.
